Old Frost and the Pleasurefalls

A something or other concerning waterfalls, forest trolls, and seasonal depression. Made from field recordings, words, and images I collected during a visit to Dalarna, Sweden, in December 2024.

Binaural recording – recommended to listen on headphones

Njutfallet (‘the Pleasurefalls’) is a little-known waterfall on Sätertäktbäcken, a brook running through a rural area North-West of Falun (the capitol of Swedish multiplicity Dalarna). The forest is dominated by pines and firs. Around the natural sights (lakes, brooks and hills) one can find remnants of human activity (sawmills, hiking trails, and mines).
